The A.C. Flora Falcons scored on seven of their nine possessions on Friday night to take a 49-0 win over the Laurens Raiders for Homecoming at K.C. Hanna Stadium.

With the exception of the Sitara Epting being crowned Homecoming Queen at halftime, it was all Falcons for the remainder of the night.

A.C. Flora dominated the Raiders in all aspects of the game. The Falcons had 28 first downs to four first downs for the Raiders. The Falcons rushed for 258 yards to 30 yards for the Raiders. The Falcons threw for 269 yards to 42 yards for the Raiders.

Laurens managed just 72 yards of total offense, while the Falcons racked up 527 yards of total offense.

Laurens has been outscored 198-27 in their first four games.

The Falcons did not score on the last drive of the first half when they got the ball after an interception and took a knee on the first play of the drive to end the half. They also didn’t score on their final drive that ended at the Raiders 5-yard line as time expired.

A.C. Flora quarterback Roper Wentzky was 21 for 30 for 269 yards and four touchdowns. Jerquan Williams rushed for 55 yards on 12 carries and two touchdowns. Jalen Simmons added 87 yards on six carries and one score.

Kendall Byrd led the Falcons receivers with 62 yards on six receptions and one touchdown. Josh Davis and Blake Betette added touchdown receptions.

Laurens quarterback Logan Bragg was 10 for 17 for 17 yards and an interception. He also rushed for 17 yards on seven carries. Receiver Travion Robinson was 1 for 1 passing for 25 yards on a throw-back pass to Price Turner.

A.C. Flora scored two touchdowns in the first quarter and three touchdowns in the second quarter to take a 35-0 lead at halftime. The Falcons rounded out the scoring with two touchdowns in the second half.

A.C. Flora improves to 4-0 on the season. The Raiders fall to 0-4 going into the bye week. They return to action on Friday, Sept. 26 at Lexington.
