We have a few more weeks before the Baltimore Ravens return to Owings Mills and begin OTAs. Another phase of the offseason working program begins May 27-29 before we transition into another month, and the defending AFC North Champions meet on June 3, June 5-6, and June 9-12.

Lamar Jackson and company have a little time to relax and rest, but QB1 decided he’d rather flex his acting chops. One of the more popular urban dramas nears the finish line of an exciting fourth season, and the two-time MVP graced the small screen for a cameo.

Lamar Jackson makes his acting debut on Power Book III: Raising Kanan.

If you’re part of what’s affectionately called The Power Universe, you’ve undoubtedly immersed yourself in the Kanan Stark origin story. Power Book III: Raising Kanan details the early years of its title character, Kanan Stark.

However, everyone’s favorite villain isn’t the topic of conversation following the debut of season four’s ninth episode. Today, discussions are about the Ravens‘ QB1. Photos alleging an expected cameo began making their way around social media at the beginning of May.

Fast-forward to the present. Lamar has indeed graced the small screen. He plays a dangerous character named E-Tone.

Sometimes, the lines of entertainment blur or intersect. We’ve seen comedians sing and star in action dramas. Actors visit NBA games to decompress, and it appears the only qualification needed to break into the world of acting now is being a rapper or single with a hot song on the radio.

We’ll give QB1 credit, though. He had a little free time, so he did his thing on a great TV show. We’ll return to building a connection with the offensive line and his receivers at the end of May.

Our question is, and while it may sound silly, we’d like an answer: Might an Emmy be in Lamar Jackson’s future?
