New England Patriots rookie offensive tackle Will Campbell had concerns about his arm length throughout the pre-draft process. It doesn’t seem like those concerns are going away anytime soon, thanks to a hilarious gift sent to the offensive lineman by a fan.
When appearing on the Dudes on Dudes podcast, Campbell said he received a package from a fan in his locker containing a plastic T-Rex dinosaur. It had a return address on it and asked for an autograph.

“So, I get there and I’m about to work out,” said Campbell. “And I have this little package and I opened it up. You know the fans sending mail and stuff, and it had a return address on it. And I opened it and they sent a plastic T Rex to my locker. They said ‘Will Campbell, can you please sign this for me?’ And I took a picture of it. I sent it to my parents.”
The arm length concerns did not end up hurting Campbell’s draft stock coming out of college. He was selected fourth overall by the Patriots in the 2025 NFL draft to be the new franchise left tackle.
If he ends up living up to his draft stock, that autographed plastic T-Rex could one day be a collector’s item.
