Meet the NY Jets’ 2025 NFL Draft class, player-by-player
Who did the Jets pick in the 2025 NFL Draft? Check out the entire class, pick by pick.
The Jets were on their way to a season-opening victory before they let it slip away late in a 34-32 heartbreaking loss to former Jets QB Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1.
There were still plenty of positive takeaways for Gang Green in the Week 1 loss, including an offense that was unstoppable in the first half, scoring on four of its first five drives of the game.
It doesn’t get much easier for the Jets, who now host the Bills on Sunday. The Bills are fresh off erasing a 15-point comeback with less than five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter to stun the Ravens with a 41-40 victory as time expired last Sunday night in Buffalo.

Staff standings entering Week 2
Art Stapleton, Bert Bainbridge, Chris Iseman, Brian Marron, Dave Rivera and Bob Jordan:Â 1-0
With Week 2 upon us, here are our staff predictions for this AFC East matchup between the Jets and Bills:
Art Stapleton
The pick:Â Bills 31, Jets 23
Here’s why:Â That was some comeback for Josh Allen and the Bills at home in Week 1 against an opponent they’ll see down the road. Will Justin Fields play to the high level he did in his debut? Maybe. But if Aaron Rodgers is throwing for four scores on this defense, Allen is a step up in caliber at this stage of the game.
Bert Bainbridge
The pick:Â Bills 27, Jets 23
Here’s why:Â Both of these offenses erupted for 32-plus points in Week 1. Will that happen again in Week 2? No, but these two divisional rivals will certainly be able to put points up on the board if both defenses fail to show up again.
The Jets have had the Bills’ number in recent years at MetLife and have still ended up keeping it close in games they’ve ended up losing to Buffalo at home. It’ll be another head-to-head matchup decided by one score, but Josh Allen and the Bills do just enough on offense to come out with a victory as Aaron Glenn still searches for his first win as a head coach.
Brian Marron
The pick:Â Bills 20, Jets 17
Here’s why:Â The Jets tend to give Josh Allen some problems, which could help keep the game close. However, it is difficult to trust Justin Fields to prove that his Week 1 performance is sustainable moving forward. Expect the better team to prevail here.Â
Bob Jordan
The pick: Jets 27, Bills 22
Here’s why:Â Jets can cash in the Bills’ backsliding ways with the defensive secondary and injuries areas of concern. Maybe that 38-0 preseason loss to Chicago and also losing to the Giants were the signs.
Dave Rivera
The pick:Â Bills 27, Jets 20
Here’s why: The Jets give the Bills some fits at home, but Josh Allen & Co. are going to ride the momentum from Sunday night’s miraculous comeback victory over the Ravens.
Chris Iseman
The pick: Bills 31, Jets 17
Here’s why: The Jets’ offense actually showed signs of hope against the Steelers in Week 1 but the defense left something to be desired. That’s going to be a problem against the Bills. The Jets will put up some points on Buffalo, just not enough to win.
