The New York Giants head to Dallas as 4.5-point underdogs this Sunday when they take on the Cowboys in Week 2. Week 1 did not go as planned, as New York barely put up a fight against the Commanders, losing 21-6. They put up 231 total yards to the Commanders’ 432 in a snooze fest.
Russell Wilson did not move the needle for the offense, but for those who roster Wan’Dale Robinson, he did continue his PPR appeal by targeting him eight times, of which he caught six for 55 yards. That isn’t great, but does land him as WR33 in PPR leagues. We want more out of our fantasy players, but he was still a WR3 on the day, making him a useful start in most leagues.
Wan’Dale Robinson injury updates
Robinson is dealing with an ankle injury and is listed as questionable on the final injury report. The receiver was able to get in two limited practices on Thursday and Friday, which probably puts him closer to playing than not.
Fantasy football analysis
The Giants and Russell Wilson get a nice matchup here against a bad Cowboys pass defense, while also not being forced to try to block an elite pass rusher like Micah Parsons. The Cowboys ranked sixth-worse in adjusted fantasy points allowed to wide receivers last season. If Robinson can go, he is a WR4/Flex play in full PPR leagues. If he can’t go, TE Theo Johnson would likely see an uptick in work, but nobody other than Malik Nabers would be startle in fantasy.
