The Pittsburgh Steelers made plenty of big moves this offseason, none bigger than the trade for wide receiver DK Metcalf. Metcalf is taking on his old team, the Seattle Seahawks, on Sunday, and he got his first career touchdown as a Steeler against his old team to give Pittsburgh the lead 14-7 as we approach halftime.

Metcalf was brought in to replace George Pickens and so far he’s been as advertised. He has quickly built chemistry with new Steelers starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers and is working his way into the flow of the offense as the team’s top target in the passing game.

On his touchdown, it was a great play call by offensive coordinator Arthur Smith to use motion to get Metcalf singled up on backup cornerback Cobee Bryant in the slot. Metcalf used his size advantage to out-muscle Bryant for the short score.

The Steelers lead the Seahawks 14-7 at halftime. Pittsburgh won the toss and deferred, so they will receive the ball to start the second half.
