The Detroit Lions bounced back in a big way on Sunday, beating the Chicago Bears 52-21 to get back to 1-1.
The usual suspects on the Lions offense all made significant contributions, and the defense held up after a few mistakes made early on. The team certainly looked a lot more like the one that dominated the NFC North last season.

Unlike last week, there were plenty of “studs” to choose from this Sunday’s game in Detroit.
Stud: Amon-Ra St. Brown
The Lions offense was firing on all cylinders against the Bears, but nobody was quite as impressive as WR1 Amon-Ra St. Brown.
St. Brown was active early and often, including a game-opening 34-yard catch that set the Lions up in scoring range. That was just foreshadowing as he finished with nine catches, 115 yards, and three touchdowns.
He’s the first Lions player to have 100+ receiving yards and three touchdowns in a game since Calvin Johnson on Halloween 2010.
Stud: Jared Goff
Lions quarterback Jared Goff had one of his best games in Detroit on Sunday, a far cry from his performance in Green Bay last week.

Goff took advantage of having significantly more time to throw, and the offense looked as good as ever. He finished 23-of-28 for 334 yards and five touchdowns, good for a passer rating of 156.3.
Stud: Brian Branch
Pro-Bowl safety Brian Branch had a definitive Brian Branch performance against the Bears, making an impact all over the field.
Branch had six tackles, including two for losses, a forced fumble, and a sack. He finished with a 91.4 Pro Football Focus grade, best among all Lions defenders on Sunday.
Stud: Aidan Hutchinson
Lions superstar pass rusher Aiden Hutchinson was in the Bears backfield often on Sunday, looking a lot more like his former self.

Hutchinson had five pressures, including one that forced Bears quarterback Caleb Williams into a Kerby Joseph interception. Hutchinson sacked Williams once and logged four hurries to round out his day.
Dud: Jack Campbell
Lions linebacker Jack Campbell really didn’t have that bad of a game, but early in the first half his defense was looking a lot like the team’s did against the Packers in Week 1.
A couple of missed assignments and missed pickups, including Rome Odunze’s first touchdown of the game, in which he flashed across the heart of the defense, and Campbell totally missed him. Campbell actually went on to have some solid plays in this game, but it was definitely not one of his best outings early on.

Stud: Isaac TeSlaa
Rookie wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa may average one catch per game for the entire season but still end up on the positive end of this list every week.
After making a spectacular touchdown grab for his first NFL reception in Week 1, TeSlaa tried to top it with another one-handed catch on Sunday against the Bears. He made the catch while falling out of bounds, and a botched call by the referees gave the Lions a great opportunity to score.
