NFL Draft analyst and insider Matt Miller feels Alabama wide receiver, Germie Bernard, is in the conversation to be the first wide receiver off the board in the next NFL Draft.
Bernard has been the Crimson Tide’s most consistent offensive weapon this season. The Washington transfer has pulled in 15 receptions for 275 yards and three touchdowns through three games.
There were a few way-too-early mock drafts where Bernard was considered a late first-round pick before the season.
Miller feels Bernard has placed himself firmly in the first-round conversation with his performance in the early season.
“Germie Bernard has been the best thing about Alabama football so far this year,” Miller posted to X. “Scouts had him with a fringe Rd1-2 grade over the summer. To me, he’s in the WR1 convo with Jordyn Tyson right now.”

Alabama has a very talented wide receiver room, and they are trending to live up to the hype they garnered before the season.
