Davante Adams and Puka Nacua both proved why they are some of the most valuable pieces for the Rams during Sunday’s win over the Titans. Both scored touchdowns, which was Adams’ first in a Rams uniform, and the two each finished with over 100 total yards. They were a handful for the Titans’ secondary, which was tested and forced to grab at both players’ uniforms on various routes.
There was also history to be made on Sunday, with both players hitting career milestones at far different stages of their careers. Adams, who finished with 106 yards on the day, has built a Hall of Fame career for himself. He reached 12,000 career yards, becoming only the 32nd player all-time to do so.

Nacua had himself a day both on the ground and through the air. The third year Ram finished with eight catches for 91 yards, not including the 45-yard rushing touchdown that he raced off to, beginning all scoring just about halfway through the first quarter. Puka became the second player since the 1970 merger with 200-plus receptions in his first 30 games, with Odell Beckham Jr. being the only other to do so.
We knew that the two were only going to build off of last week, and it seemed as if they hit the ground running as soon as the ball was kicked off today. Next week, the two will need to produce big numbers once again as the Rams travel to Lincoln Financial Field for an NFC divisional round rematch with the Eagles.
