It’s been a whirlwind couple of days for McCarthy, who opened his NFL career on Monday night, defeating his childhood team, the Chicago Bears, in Week 1. McCarthy led the Vikings on a major second half comeback, en route to a huge season-opening victory.

A couple of days later, his partner gave birth to their son.

Now, a couple of days after that, the Vikings are taking on the Falcons on NBC’s “Sunday Night Football.”

The game is currently in the second half, airing on NBC.
