GREEN BAY (WLUK) — Packers quarterback Jordan Love stopped by football practice at Green Bay Southwest High School Monday to launch his second annual 10ve for Cleats initiative.

In last year’s inaugural campaign, the Hands of 10ve [“Love”] Foundation donated more than 1,300 pairs of new Nike cleats to youth sports programs across Wisconsin for every touchdown Love ran in or threw during the Packers’ season.

He notched 26 passing and rushing TDs, meaning 26 different teams benefited from the cleats giveaway.

“We’re very fortunate to be able to give back. A big part of why we do it is I remember growing up and kids being on my teams that wouldn’t be able to get new cleats every year. They were wearing hand-me-down cleats from their older brothers or older sisters and they just wouldn’t have that,” Love said.

Southwest was the first team selected to receive cleats this season. Any K-12 team in need of cleats can apply by clicking here.

Love created the Hands of 10ve Foundation in 2024. Its mission is to inspire youth from all backgrounds to participate in sports, support the law enforcement community and bring awareness to mental health issues. All three hit close to home for Love, whose father was a police officer who committed suicide when Love was 14 years old.
