How were those 55 snaps divided up? Below are the individual snap counts for everyone who got in the game on offense.

The first number after each name represents the snaps played and the second is the percentage. Players in bold were starters.

Arizona Cardinals Week 2 offensive snap counts: Quarterbacks

Kyler Murray (54/98), Jacoby Brissett (1/2)

Murray completed 68.0 percent of his passes (17-for-25) for 220 yards, one touchdown and was sacked once. A highlight-reel 30-yard run came three plays before an interception on a play that began at the Carolina 12-yard line. Leading 27-9 early in the fourth quarter, Murray ran to his left while scrambling on third-and-3, but was hit while trying to throw the ball away and it fluttered in the air. Murray ran seven times, and he had only two total yards on the six carries aside from the 30-yarder.

Brissett ran for two yards on fourth-and-1 from the Panthers’ 49, a play that was four plays before the interception.

Running backs

James Conner (30/55), Trey Benson (24/44), Emari Demercado (1/2)

Did not play (except on special teams): Bam Knight

Another frustrating afternoon for the ground game. Conner was 11-34 (3.1 average) with a long of eight, but did have a 2-yard touchdown run on a play where tackle Kelvin Beachum was added to the line and center-guard Jon Gaines II lined up as a fullback in front of Conner. Benson was 3-14 (4.7) with an 11-yard long.

Wide receivers

Marvin Harrison Jr. (51/93), Michael Wilson (38/69), Zay Jones (28/51), Greg Dortch (10/18)

Did not play (except on special teams): Simi Fehoko

Reserve/injured: Trishton Jackson

Harrison totaled 27 yards on two receptions, but had a drop on his five official targets. Not counted was a target that resulted in a 38-yard pass interference penalty to the 5-yard line that led to a field goal. Wilson had an 11-yard catch for a touchdown, but on a deep pass, broke to the right when Murray apparently believed he was going deep. Dortch also had one reception for 11 yards. Jones was not targeted.

McBride was targeted seven times and caught six for 76 yards and a 31-yard long. He was flagged for holding on third-and-goal from the 7-yard line, wiping out a completion to Wilson to the 1-yard line. A field goal was the result. On the first possession of the second half, Higgins had catches of 27 and 18 yards that led to a touchdown and a 27-3 Cardinals lead.

Offensive linemen

LT Paris Johnson Jr. (55/100), LG Evan Brown (55/100), C Hjalte Froholdt (55/100), RG Isaiah Adams (55/100), RT Jonah Williams (55/100), T Kelvin Beachum (2/4), C/G (FB) Jon Gaines II (1/2)

Adams was flagged for two holding penalties, although one was offset, while Williams also had one for holding. Froholdt was penalized on first-and-10 for a facemask infraction that eventually resulted in a second-and-30 play. The starting line has been called for holding six times in the first two games.
