New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel is going viral for his run down the sideline with running back Antonio Gibson, during a 90-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in Sunday’s win over the Miami Dolphins.
The kickoff return came at a pivotal point in the game. The Patriots had just given up a special teams score to Dolphins wide receiver Malik Washington, who took a punt 74 yards to the house for six points. It was a momentum killer for the team late in the game.

However, Gibson’s play stole back that momentum for the Patriots. And yet, the coolest part was seeing Vrabel run in step with Gibson to the end zone.
Patriots veteran wide receiver Stefon Diggs jokingly roasted Vrabel for the play after the game. It was the first time the Patriots beat the Dolphins at Miami since the 2019 season.
“Yeah, I actually just saw it on video, and I was like, ‘He’s slow as hell,’” Diggs told media members.
