After the NFC West went 3-1 in Week 1, Week 2 was good to the division. All four teams won their games, giving the division a combined 7-1 record through two weeks.

NFC West standings, Week 3

San Francisco 49ers, 2-0 (1-0 division, 2-0 conference)

What happened in Week 2?

49ers 26, Saints 21

Mac Jones, starting in place of injured Brock Purdy at quarterback, threw three touchdown passes, and the 49ers survived a three-TD pass performance from Saints QB Spencer Rattler.

Christian McCaffrey had 102 total yards from scrimmage.

Seahawks 31, Steelers 17

Sam Darnold threw two touchdown passes and was intercepted twice, but the defense held Pittsburgh to 267 total yards and picked off Aaron Rodgers twice. Ken Walker rushed for 105 yards and a score, while receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught eight passes for 103 yards.

Rams 33, Titans 19

The LA defense held the Titans to 252 yards of offense and sacked rookie quarterback Cam Ward five times, while Matthew Stafford passed for 298 yards and two touchdowns. Receiver Davanta Adams had six receptions for 106 yards and a touchdown.

Cardinals 27, Panthers 22

The Cardinals had a defensive score and built a 27-3 lead, but the defense allowed a furious comeback in a win that came down to the wire.

Week 3 schedule for the NFC West

The Cardinals and 49ers play each other in Santa Clara with a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff.

The Rams will be on the road against the 2-0 defending champion Philadelphia Eagles.

The Seahawks will play the 0-2 Saints at home.
