Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has had several successful moments in his football career.
Jackson won the Heisman Trophy during his senior season at Louisville, then notched two NFL MVP honors as a member of the Ravens after going in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
But now, Jackson is set to dazzle Ravens fans off the football field as he appears as a guest star in the Starz drama series ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan’.
According to IMDb, the show “goes back to 1991 when Supras are the whip of choice and a fly shearling coat is a symbol of status in the hood. Kanan navigates this world of glamour and grit as he comes into his own and gets out of the shadow of his mother, Raq, who runs the streets of Southside Jamaica, Queens, with her brothers, Marvin and Lou-Lou. Despite Kanan being under their watchful eyes, danger lurks just around the corner.”
Jackson will play a character named E-Tone, a hitman. He’s the most recent in a series of killers to be featured on the show.
The former Louisville Cardinals quarterback is a two-time NFL MVP, a three-time First-Team All-Pro and a four-time Pro Bowler. He led the NFL in passing touchdowns in 2019 and led the league in passer rating last season.
Jackson and the Ravens hosted the AFC Championship game in 2023 but fell short to the Kansas City Chiefs, 17-10. Last season the team posted a 12-5 regular season mark only to lose in the Divisional Round to the Buffalo Bills 27-25.
