Eagles vs. Rams picks against the spread
Jordan Mendoza: Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5)
The Rams get another crack to figure out Saquon Barkley. Philadelphia didn’t look pretty against Kansas City, but it regroups at home and hand Los Angeles a third loss in the past 11 months.
Jon Hoefling: Los Angeles Rams (+3.5)
This Eagles team doesn’t feel as dominating as it was a season ago, and let’s not forget that no team gave the Eagles a run for their money in the playoffs quite like the Rams did. In what should be a revenge game for McVay and company, the Rams could very well upset the defending champs here.
Tyler Dragon: Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5)
Saquon Barkley ran all over the Rams last year. The Rams responded by adding DT Poona Ford and LB Nate Landman. Unfortunately for LA, the additions won’t change the result versus Barkley and the Eagles.
Christopher Bumbaca: Los Angeles Rams (+3.5)
This game won’t be decided by more than a field goal in any direction which is why I’m comfortable with the underdog play here. Expect the Rams’ defense to give Jalen Hurts some fits.
Blake Schuster: Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5)
Philadelphia looks fantastic so far. The Rams look like Matthew Stafford still needs some time to get back to full strength. The hook is scary on this one, but the Eagles hang on here.
Lorenzo Reyes: Los Angeles Rams (+3.5)
This is a tougher one to call. The Eagles have played very well, but their victories have been by only seven points combined. Even though the spread is quite modest, I could see the Rams keeping this very close, even if Philly does win.
