The Falcons’ special teams unit continued to deliver blows. Another blocked punt put the Falcons at the Raiders 37-yard line, resulting in Younghoe Koo knocking in a 40-yard field goal. The Falcons kicker would notch another field goal from 48 yards at the top of the fourth quarter to take a 15-3 lead.

As the clock ran down, the Raiders still found a way to stay in the game. The offense drove the ball down the field 68 yards in under three minutes, scoring on a 5-yard pass from Desmond Ridder to Abdullah.

Down six with 1:50 left in the game, the Raiders had a chance to mount a game-winning drive. However, three penalties prevented the team from advancing down the field. On the final play, Ridder launched the ball to the end zone on a second Hail Mary attempt that ultimately was picked off by the Falcons.

While the Raiders defense only allowed one touchdown, while recording three sacks and a turnover, they allowed Bijan Robinson to run roughshod for 125 yards.

Ridder, who made his first start with the Raiders in place of an injured Aidan O’Connell, went 23-of-39 for 208 yards, a touchdown and one interception against his former team.

The Silver and Black will now turn their attention to facing the Jacksonville Jaguars on a short week back at home in Allegiant Stadium next Sunday.
