The Buffalo Bills (2-0) are turning to the next page of their 2025 NFL season against the Miami Dolphins (0-2).

Following another offseason that has built Super Bowl hopes, can the Bills continue their trek toward making that a reality?

Before we even get to the team’s next kickoff, there will be a lot of Bills-related discussions and conversations to be had throughout the coming days.

With that, here are five storylines to watch for during the lead up to Bills against the Dolphins in Week 3:

Bills quarterback Josh Allen did not play poorly against the New York Jets in Week 2, but he’s usually hit or miss against them.

The only reason that’s being mentioned is because he is the polar opposite with the Dolphins.

Allen has a 13-2 record against the Dolphins in his career. He currently has a six-game win streak against Miami.

For whatever reason, he brings his best out against the Dolphins.

Allen briefly left the game last week against the Jets because of his nose issue. He did not miss much time and will be good to go in Week 3.

It’s still going to be discussed throughout the short week ahead of “Thursday Night Football.”

Speaking of that short week, it’s the first one of the year the Bills will face. Regardless, having sure a short turnaround ahead of a Thursday game is always a topic of conversation.

Relating to that in terms of other injuries, linebacker Matt Milano (pectoral) and defensive tackle Ed Oliver (foot) will be names to watch in terms of injury. Both do not have much time to heal up.

Pass rusher Joey Bosa is very interesting after his huge game against the Jets. The Bills have hoped to find an excellent veteran to come off the edge in recent years. They failed to find it in Von Miller because of injury.

Bosa performed in outstanding fashion in Week 2. Can he repeat that again against the Dolphins?

The Bills likely will not discuss this one much, but it will be a national storyline.

The hottest coaching seat in the NFL might be in Miami with Mike McDaniel. The Dolphins performed better in Week 2, but still lost to the New England Patriots. McDaniel is already being asked about his job security.

He might not survive an ugly loss and the Bills are double-digit favorite in most sportsbooks.
