WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The 2025 NFL Draft wrapped Saturday, but opportunities still await for some names that didn’t get called. One of those names was Tyler Kahmann, a Haysville native who has officially signed to the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent.

Kahmann spent the last four seasons at Emporia State, becoming the MIAA record holder with 54 career touchdown and setting the single game conference record of 296 receiving yards.

Additionally, he is the first wide receiver in Emporia State history to be named as an Associated Press First-Team All-American, with 1,488 yards and 20 touchdowns in the 2024 season, both of which are school records.

Before playing for the Hornets, Kahmann was an Honorable Mention All-State player at Campus High.
