Houston Texans wide receiver Christian Kirk is trending in the right direction.
The Texans are gearing up for their first AFC South divisional game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday at EverBank Stadium, where new head coach Liam Coen is looking to end the eight-year winning streak for Houston in Duval County.

Kirk, who was traded from the Jaguars to the Texans in exchange for a late-round pick this offseason, spent the past three seasons in Jacksonville. He missed the first the first two games with a hamstring injury, but returned to practice for the first time since the end of training camp on Wednesday morning.
“It’s good to get our guys back, Christian, [Braxton] Berrios and Jake [Andrews],” Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said. “It’s good to see them back out at practice today. We’ll continue to see how the week goes for them, but it’s encouraging to see them out there today working. Hopefully they can help us on Sunday.”
