For the second straight week, the Philadelphia Eagles’ Wednesday injury report is pretty light, but two key names were limited today.

Only four players were on the report; one did not participate, and three were limited in the week’s first practice ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.

Eagles’ Wednesday Injury ReportDNP – RB Will Shipley (oblique)LIMITED – DT Jalen Carter (shoulder), TE Dallas Goedert (knee), QB Tanner McKee (right thumb)Jalen Carter a Surprise Addition

Carter is the surprise of the group, as the other three players all were on the injury report last week. Carter, who is in his third year out of Georgia, missed the first game of the season after spitting on Dak Prescott, but played last week against Kansas City. with two tackles and three QB hits.

“He had some good rushes,” Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio said on Tuesday. I think he needs to round into better shape. Both he and I talked about that, and he readily admits that. I think we’ll even get more. But, I thought for everything that has gone on in his world, I thought he played pretty good.”

He had a strong sophomore campaign in 2024, with 4.5 sacks and 42 tackles (12 for loss), and 16 QB hits and a memorable performance in the NFC Divisional game against the Rams, with a forced fumble and a career-high-tying 2.0 sacks, including a sack on third-and-2 with 1:14 remaining in the fourth quarter that helped the Eagles make a fourth down stop to seal the victory.

Dallas Goedert and Tanner McKee Return

Tight end Dallas Goedert, who missed last week’s game against Kansas City, was back on the practice field today, as was backup quarterback Tanner McKee, who served as the emergency AB last week.

Will Shipley Still Sidelined

Shipley missed practice last week and did not play in the game against the Chiefs with an oblique injury.
