The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are entering unprecedented territory when it comes to their injuries, which are piling up. This is a team that has been dealing with massive injuries to several key players for the better part of the last five years, and in 2025, they are already piling up at an insane rate.

On Wednesday night, guard Cody Mauch was ruled out for the remainder of the year after the team announced he suffered a knee injury on Monday against the Falcons. Despite suffering the injury, Mauch stayed in the game and finished it for the Bucs, proving that he will be a lifetime member of the Salty Spitoon in Bikini Bottom.

The injury to Mauch comes on the heels of the team losing right tackle Luke Goedeke in the same game. Now, the offensive line of the Bucs that came into the year with one of the best units in the NFL is now having to deal with replacing three starters, with two of them being their book-end tackles.

The projected offensive line from left to right is Graham Barton, Elijah Klein, Ben Bredeson, Michael Jordan, and Charlie Heck.

The line is going to have its work cut out for it in Week 3 against the New York Jets and their talented defensive line. From there, there will be more tests coming, but it seems Tristan Wirfs is working his way back soon, but it can’t come soon enough at the rate the team is going.
