A look at which games are being broadcast in which areas of the country as the Cowboys aren’t on primetime.
The Dallas Cowboys were able to escape their rare early-slot game in Week 2. They started off slowly with the noon kickoff, putting forth a rough first half performance. While the offense eventually woke up, the defense was hitting that snooze alarm far more often than anyone would like, giving up big play after big play to Russell Wilson and the New York Giants. Things became a track race as the clubs combined for 41 points in the fourth quarter, en route to a 40-37 OT win for the Cowboys.
Things return to normal a little bit in Week 3, as the Cowboys will travel to Chicago to take on the Bears in a late afternoon kickoff. The Cowboys still have five primetime contests remaining for 2025, but this week they get to play with the sun still shining.
The late-afternoon block means there’s less competition for eyeballs, but they aren’t exclusive to the timeslot so TV viewing maps are a must. The Cowboys have fans all over the country and all over the world, so many of them are going to need to make arrangements in order to view the contest; just a lot less than last week.
Here’s a look at the games being broadcast around the country, on both Fox and CBS.
