The Browns rotated left tackle Dawand Jones on Sunday against the Ravens.John Kuntz, cleveland.com
CLEVELAND, Ohio — In a league where offensive line continuity is sacred, the Browns made a peculiar move Sunday — they deliberately rested starting left tackle Dawand Jones for 10 snaps in a “predetermined” rotation.
While head coach Kevin Stefanski remained typically tight-lipped about the decision, Jones himself clarified the situation Wednesday at the team facility. According to Orange and Brown Talk host Dan Labbe, “Dawand Jones today made it pretty clear he was not feeling any heat symptoms. It was a predetermined thing that the coaching staff wanted to do, and so they took him out on the third series of each half.”
