Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. has the right mindset heading into a Week 3 showdown with the San Francisco 49ers.
Harrison, the No. 4 pick from the 2024 NFL Draft, had 62 receptions for 885 yards and eight touchdowns during his rookie season. Fans expected a bit more production from the former Fred Biletnikoff Award winner. That being said, he started off his second season with 71 yards and a touchdown in a 20-13 win over the New Orleans Saints.

Week 2 wasn’t as explosive for Harrison, who had just two catches for 27 yards in a 27-22 victory over the Carolina Panthers. He was targeted five times in that game.

Earlier this week, Harrison was asked being targeted just 11 times in two games.
Harrison made it clear that he’s not worried about his individual stats. All he cares about is winning games.
“That’s a silly conversation really,” Harrison said. “We’re 2-0. That’s the most important thing. We’ve got a big game this week, so that’s really my only focus. Anybody that’s a competitor loves the game, loves what they do. Everybody wants the ball. They want to impact the game. But most importantly, it’s all about winning.”

Arizona has big plans for Harrison.
Even though Harrison isn’t stressed about his lack of targets, Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon made it clear that he wants his No. 1 wide receiver more involved in the offense.
“He needs his touches for us to be effective overall as an offense,” Gannon told reporters.
Harrison could be in line for a big game against the 49ers this Sunday. And if not, all the questions regarding his chemistry with Kyler Murray will only get louder.
