Despite the loss, many of the Cleveland Browns’ defensive players stood out in their PFF grades during Week 2.
The Browns’ defensive line was in full force, dominating the PFF grades with three players in this group reaching over an 85.0 overall grade. The main contributor was defensive end Myles Garrett, who had 1.5 sacks and an 89.6 overall grade. Maliek Collins also had an insanely impressive day on the PFF scale, doing well enough to earn a 93.2 pass-rush grade. Despite some short touchdown drives that were caused by offensive turnovers, the Browns’ defensive line still managed to put together a promising performance against this elite Ravens team.

Unfortunately for Cleveland’s secondary, it was one of the worst games we’ll see from this group in the 2025 season. Cornerbacks like Cameron Mitchell and Denzel Ward had what are expected to be season-low performances, while others, like safety Grant Delpit, thrived with his 80.9 overall grade. Fellow safeties Rayshawn Jenkins and Ronnie Hickman Jr. also had productive days with their 74.6 and 73.9 overall PFF grades. As many saw during the game, it was the Browns’ cornerbacks who had the most trouble during this Week 2 matchup.
Let’s now take a look at the top-10 graded PFF Browns players on the defensive side of the ball against Baltimore:
