The San Francisco 49ers have started their 2025 campaign with two games on the road, and they’ve won both, beating the Seattle Seahawks 17-13 in Week 1 and the New Orleans Saints 26-21 in Week 2.

With their first two games being on the road, local 49ers fans have had to travel to see their team in action early, and so far they’ve travelled well.

During Sunday’s game against New Orleans, San Francisco’s fan base was loud and proud in the stands at Caesars Superdome. In fact, they made such an impact that Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan called it out after the meeting.

“I didn’t like it,” Jordan said.” I didn’t like the noise coming from them. Especially when Saints Nation has been so strong for so long. One of the rare instances where you could actually hear the opposing crowd in a loud manner. I hope that (expletive) never happens again.”

Making those road games feel like battles at a neutral site or your home stadium is a big advantage, and the players can feed off of the energy that the fans bring to the game. Plus, not having to use a silent count can be beneficial for the offensive procedure.

49ers fans have been some of the league’s most passionate for decades, but it’s always nice to know that the efforts are not going unnoticed by the team or their opponents.
