The Los Angeles Rams can do what they want, they will do what they want, but if Shedeur Sanders falls to pick 127 how do you pass that up? You pass that up by taking another player, and perhaps L.A. has more needs than at quarterback.

I’’ll say again, how do you not take Sanders?

L.A. has Matthew Stafford and I hope he plays forever, he won’t. The Rams have Jimmy Garoppolo and he’s been to a Super Bowl, dude is solid. Behind him, they have Stetson Bennett. I like Bennett, I do! But is Bennett better than Sanders? I don’t know, but after watching Bennett in the preseason last year, I’d say the Rams could do better at QB3.

If Sean McVay and Les Snead have plans for Bennett, I defer to them, godspeed.

If McVay and Snead have any inkling Sanders can be better than Bennett, then what are we debating? Backup your quarterback room, and take a gamble on a player that can be your future, and or can be a stable backup the next few years while he is on his rookie deal.

A lot of franchises have to worry about the Sanders’ family overshadowing them, the Rams don’t. A lot of franchises have to think about Deion Sanders overshadowing their head coach, the Rams don’t.

Sanders was in consideration to be a top-5 pick, he didn’t go that route, if he is still there at pick 127, the Rams should.
