EUGENE — The decision was an easy one for Oregon linebacker Bryce Boettcher.
On its face, it could have been complicated. Boettcher is a member of the Houston Astros organization after signing with the MLB club in 2024. But the two-sport athlete found out after the Rose Bowl in January that the NCAA would grant him a fourth season of football eligibility.
