Baltimore Ravens host fan party to celebrate opening of new team store with exclusive merch

The opening of the Baltimore Ravens’ new standalone team store marked a very special Purple Friday.The team held a party for the grand opening of the new Ravens Flock Shop, which consists of more than 6,600 square feet of retail space. The store located outside Gate A at M&T Bank Stadium is a first of its kind for the Ravens, and it’s just a part of the stadium renovations.”(The store offers) a lot of items you can’t find online, things that are exclusive only to us,” said Chris Inouye, the Ravens’ vice president of retail and food and beverage operations. “It’s a dream come true, for sure.”Before fans even started filling their shopping bags, they enjoyed free breakfast at the team’s new hospitality village that included a mimosa bar and a 30th anniversary T-shirt giveaway, along with the 98 Rock Morning Show’s live broadcast.”I really can’t believe this and it’s good, good for the whole community, good for the Ravens,” said Rob Bowser, a Ravens fan.”When I was her age, my dad brought me to the Ravens training camp the first year we won the Super Bowl. We don’t get to do stuff as dad and daughters all that much, so I think this is something good that we get to do together,” said Jamie Mulkern, a Ravens fan.Laila Mulkern, 10, was among the fans looking forward to doing some shopping.”I’m really excited. I really want to see all the jewelry and stuff,” Laila told 11 News. “Once the store opened, everyone was checking out the merchandise and filling up their bags.”The grand opening celebration continues from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.
