Jacksonville Jaguars’ wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. popped up on the injury report this week with a wrist injury.

On Monday, following the Jaguars‘ loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, head coach Liam Coen said that the wrist injury had been nagging Thomas.

On Wednesday, Thomas was a full participant, but on Thursday, he was limited. The Friday injury report hasn’t been released at this time, but regardless of what Thomas’ practice status is, it sounds like he’ll be playing on Sunday against Houston.

According to ESPN’s Michael DiRocco, Coen said he’s excited for Thomas’ opportunity this week versus the Texans. Then, when Thomas was asked about Sunday, he said, “I’m good.”

On 19 targets this season, Thomas has just five receptions, totaling 60 yards. He has a rushing touchdown as well.

The connection between him and quarterback Trevor Lawrence has been slightly off to start the season, but Coen likes the trajectory that Thomas and the passing game as a whole are on.

“I definitely think he had a better week in terms of the way we were trying to connect,” Coen said, via the Florida Times Union. “Excited about his op this weekend.”

The Jaguars face a Houston Texans’ defense this week that is allowing just 14.0 points per game on the season.
