More than half of those yards (45) occurred via the Quincy Williams whiff on a 45-yard James Cook rushing touchdown:

Pro Football Focus actually took things a step further, crediting the Jets with 10 missed tackles versus the Bills. Williams and safety Andre Cisco missed two tackles apiece.

PFF has the Jets at 18 total missed tackles through two contests. Williams (3) leads the way, with Cisco, Jamien Sherwood, and Tony Adams with two missed tackles each.

The Buccaneers have two running backs who are excellent at forcing missed tackles, both near the line of scrimmage, and in space. Bucky Irving and Rachaad White have been credited with forcing five missed tackles apiece.

For comparative purposes, Breece Hall has forced two missed tackles, and Braelon Allen hasn’t forced one at all.

The Jets need to be a much better tackling team versus the Bucs.
