JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars on Friday practiced at the Miller Electric Center.
The Jaguars (1-1) will play the Houston Texans (0-2) in a 2025 Week 3 AFC South game at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville Sunday. Here’s a look at Friday around the Jaguars – with Head Coach Liam Coen speaking to the media for the last time before Sunday:
Wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. practiced full Friday and is expected to play Sunday, according to team’s injury report.
Thomas practiced full Wednesday and limited Thursday, with Coen on Friday speaking positively of the second-year veteran’s approach after he dropped multiple passes in a 31-27 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals last Sunday.
“He definitely had a better week in terms of the way we were trying to connect,” Coen said. “Excited about his opps this weekend.”
The Jaguars released their third and final injury report of the week Friday, with rookie guard Wyatt Milum ruled out for a third consecutive game to start the season with a knee injury.
Starting guard Ezra Cleveland practiced limited after missing Wednesday and Thursday with an ankle injury sustained against the Bengals. He was listed as questionable.
Thomas, rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten (shoulder), tight end Hunter Long (ankle), cornerback Montaric Brown (ankle) and cornerback Jarrian Jones (back) were listed Friday as having “no status.” That means they should be available to play Sunday.
Tuten, Long and Jones sustained injuries against the Bengals Sunday, with Brown having been out since early training camp.
