The New York Giants are hosting the Kansas City Chiefs in a battle of two 0-2 teams searching for their first win of the 2025 season in a primetime matchup on ‘Sunday Night Football’ from MetLife Stadium.

The biggest storyline isn’t the Giants’ Week 3 home opener or how QB Russell Wilson will follow up a 450-yard, three-touchdown performance in a 40-37 overtime loss to the Cowboys last weekend.

It won’t even be the Chiefs, the reigning AFC representative in the Super Bowl last February, trying to avoid losing four consecutive games dating back to the Super Bowl 59 loss to the Eagles in the Andy Reid-Patrick Mahomes era.

Are you ready for it?

Instead, it will be whether Taylor Swift, the world’s biggest pop star, will be in attendance supporting her fiancée in Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Here’s what we know so far:

Will Taylor Swift attend Chiefs vs. Giants game on Sunday?

There’s no confirmation yet on whether Swift will be in the building to support Travis Kelce in East Rutherford on Sunday night.

However, recent history tells us there’s a good chance that the Pennsylvania native will be in the Garden State.

In early October 2023, Swift was on site at MetLife for a Jets-Chiefs Sunday night game flanked by fellow Hollywood stars in Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. Swift’s attendance set streaming records with viewers tuned in at an all-time high.

Swift and Kelce’s relationship became official not long after the Jets’ 23-20 loss to the then-reigning Super Bowl champions.

Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce appearances at sporting events

While we’re early into this NFL season, Swift has already been at a Chiefs game in 2025.

Despite not being shown during the game, she was reportedly at the Chiefs’ home opener in a Super Bowl rematch against the Philadelphia Eagles last Sunday after viral videos circulated on social media of her sneakily entering Arrowhead Stadium for the Week 2 game.

Swift did not attend Kansas City’s first game when the Chiefs opened their 2025 season abroad in Sao Paulo, Brazil, against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1.

The newly-engaged couple made their first appearance together following their viral engagement this summer when Kelce’s alma mater, the University of Cincinnati, played Nebraska at the Chiefs’ own Arrowhead Stadium on Aug. 28, a week before the NFL regular season began.

Swift and Kelce were also in the area last October, when the high-profile couple took in Game 1 of the American League Championship Series (ALCS) between the Yankees and Guardians in the Bronx at Yankee Stadium.

When did Taylor Swift last perform at MetLife Stadium?

Sunday’s Giants-Chiefs game would be the first chance for Taylor Swift to attend a Chiefs’ road game this season. She last performed at MetLife Stadium from May 26-28 in 2023 as a part of her record-breaking ‘Eras Tour’ which had begun two months prior.

The 35-year-old West Reading, Pennsylvania, native originally set attendance records at MetLife Stadium with more than 82,000 fans during her first show before Ed Sheeran broke that record less than a month later with 89,106 attendees at MetLife in June of 2023.

Chiefs schedule: Which other games could Taylor Swift attend?

With the NFL season only a couple of weeks in, there will be plenty of other opportunities for her massive following, aka “Swifties”, to see the pop icon on their TV screen or streaming service during NFL games this season.
