The Tennessee Titans (0-2) will open their regular-season home division slate on Sunday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville against the Indianapolis Colts.
Unfortunately, they will be without at least two starters when they take the field against the Colts, as offensive tackle JC Latham (hip) and T’Vondre Sweat (ankle) will be held out due to injury. There was some optimism that Sweat would be available to bolster the team’s run defense against the high-powered Colts’ ground game after he was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but after failing to hit the field on Friday, the defensive anchor was ruled out.
This will be a significant blow for a Titans’ defense that also sees multiple starters questionable entering the weekend.
Cornerback Jarvis Brownlee, wide receiver Bryce Oliver, and guard Kevin Zeitler did not practice on Friday but are considered questionable. Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed went full, but is also questionable.
Running back Kalel Mullings (questionable) and safety Kevin Winston Jr. (doubtful) were limited in practice.
