The Raiders are in Washington, set for their Week 3 matchup with the Commanders. In preparation for the game, they have activated WR Alex Bachman and CB Greedy Vance from the practice squad.

First up is Bachman, making for his third call-up this season. That is the limit for times a team can activate a player from the practice squad in a season before they have to decide whether they want to keep him. They must either sign him after this game or release him.

Bachman has one target over the first two weeks with no catches. He also has one punt return and four kick returns and works on coverage teams as well.

Vance is an undrafted rookie out of USC. He made a strong impression in camp, earning him a spot on the practice squad. This is his first call up to the active roster. It most likely signals that DeCamerion Richardson — who was Questionable for the game with a hamstring injury — will not play. Or at very least is an insurance plan should Richarrdson not be ready by kickoff.
