The Atlanta Falcons (1-1) announced zero practice squad elevations for their Week 3 matchup against the Carolina Panthers (0-2). Each team is allowed to elevate up to two players from its 16-man practice squad for each game. Aside from A.J. Terrell‘s injury, Atlanta is in decent shape health-wise.

In other Falcons roster news, the team released kicker Younghoe Koo and signed Parker Romo to the 53-man roster on Friday. Koo had been with the team since 2019 but was benched before Sunday’s win over the Minnesota Vikings.

Instead, Atlanta elevated Romo from the practice squad but still kept Koo on the roster for another week. After going 5-for-5 against the Vikings on Sunday night, Romo officially secured the starting kicker job going forward.

Koo thanked the Falcons organization on his personal Instagram page following his release on Friday:

I want to thank the Falcons organization for giving me an opportunity when no one else would six years ago. This place helped me grow as a kicker and as a man. I will forever be grateful for the support from the fans during my time here. I have nothing but love and respect for everyone in the building, I wish y’all the best. I’m full of gratitude and excitement as I continue my journey in this league. – Younghoe Koo
