Earlier on Saturday, the Tennessee Titans made the surprising move to place nose tackle T’Vondre Sweat on injured reserve, opening a hole along the defensive line before their Sunday matchup with the Indianapolis Colts.
To help fill that void along their defensive front, the Titans tapped into the practice squad for some reinforcements.

The Titans used a standard elevation to make defensive tackle Carlos Watkins and linebacker Kyzir White available for Sunday. This is the second elevation for Watkins and will mark White’s debut in a Titans uniform.
Watkins adds an experienced defensive lineman to the rotation with defensive tackle Shy Tuttle to help defend against the Colts’ high-powered rushing attack. White will make his first appearance with the Titans, and the veteran should be a valuable asset in this game with his athleticism and tackling ability.
The Titans and Colts will kick off their Week 3 matchup on Sunday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
