Thursday Night Football marked some milestones this week for QB Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.

Allen improved to 8-0 on TNF, and threw three touchdown passes in the win to reach 200 career passing TD mark, passing Patrick Mahomes to become the fastest player in NFL history to achieve 300 career offensive TDs (combined passing, rushing, and receiving), including playoffs.

Allen’s 43 total touchdowns in 15 regular-season games against Miami move him past Dan Marino (42 TDs vs. NYJ) for the most total TDs by a QB in their first 15 games against an opponent.

His 300+ total TD mark as an individual since entering the league in 2018 puts him ahead of 12 NFL franchises, per Pro Football & Sports Network.

Offensive tackle Dion Dawkins shared the winning recipe to help his QB reach these heights.

“[We] protected Josh Allen {and} let Josh Allen do his MVP thing,” the four-time Pro Bowler said during an Amazon Prime postgame interview

“He’s just a spark, you know, each and every day,” tight end Dalton Kincaid added about Allen during a postgame interview with ESPN on SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt. “Practice, off day, whatever it may be, you know, he gets everybody going. And it’s just, how can you not, you know, leave it all out there for a guy like that.”

The Bills remain undefeated to start the season, improving to 3-0 on the year, while head coach Sean McDermott also improved to 9-0 against the Dolphins at home in Orchard Park. The team has won 13 of its last 14 contests against the Miami Dolphins, including the last six matchups.

Allen was in a positive mood during the postgame interviews and programming with the Thursday night crew, sharing that it was his parents’ Wedding Anniversary. They’d been in attendance, which he later mused about during his media availability in regards to former Bills QB and TNF analyst Ryan Fitzpatrick’s tradition of going shirtless for Bills Mafia, which he again did live on air at the beckoning of the fans.

“He wanted to play hard to get, but you know what. Happy anniversary, Mom and Dad.”
