LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – UK defensive lineman Deone Walker was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft as the 109th overall pick.
The 6-foot-7 Detroit-native will join former teammates Ray Davis (drafted last year) and Maxwell Hairston (2025 1st round pick) in New York.
As a three-year letter winner and two-time team captain, Walker started in 36 of 37 career games played. Overall, he totaled 132 career tackles, including 22 tackles for loss and 10 sacks.
As a junior in 2024, Walker notched 37 total tackles, 5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks, in 11 games played. He also broke up a pair of passes and recovered a fumble. He was considered a first-rounder coming into the season, but it was revealed he played the season with a stress fracture in his back.
Walker is the 30th player of the Mark Stoops era at Kentucky to be drafted,
