The NFL is an any given Sunday type of league, but oddsmakers seem fairly certain that the Buffalo Bills will take care of business in Week 4.

Buffalo, set to host the New Orleans Saints, opened as a 16.5-point favorite for the matchup at Highmark Stadium. This is the most that Buffalo has been favored by since they were listed as 17.5 point favorites against the Houston Texans in 2021. The Bills would go on to defeat the Davis Mills-led Texans 40-0.

The Saints are winless through their first three games and are coming off a 44-13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. In their loss to the Seahawks, the Saints made history.

Rod Walker of The New Orleans Advocate shared that the Saints were the first team in NFL history to gain 280-plus yards, give up fewer than 330 yards, not lose the turnover battle and lose a game by more than 30.

Now the Saints will head to Orchard Park to take on an undefeated Bills team that is coming off a mini-bye following their 31-21 win over the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football.

Although the matchup certainly favors Buffalo, the Bills can’t overlook the Saints. The Green Bay Packers, for instance, were coming off a mini-bye of their own this week and dropped a matchup to the Cleveland Browns. Green Bay had to go on the road for the matchup, but few, if any, expected them to drop the game after looking like a Super Bowl favorite in their first two games.
