The Washington Commanders are 2-1 after a dominating 41-24 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. They did this while missing several players who suffered injuries in a Thursday Night Football loss to the Green Bay Packers last week.
Jayden Daniels missed the first game of his young career due to a knee sprain, and we don’t know whether he’ll be ready to play this week. Veteran backup QB Marcus Mariota led the team in his absence and looked like he was in complete control of the offense.
The Commanders are looking to keep that momentum going when they go on the road to take on the Atlanta Falcons who are reeling from a 30-0 loss to the Carolina Panthers. The Falcons’ second-year QB was benched for Redskins former fourth-round pick Kirk Cousins, but the Atlanta offense still couldn’t score.
Opening odds for the Commanders have them as 3-point road favorites against the home-standing Falcons. The O/U opens at 45.5.
Point spread: Commanders -3
Moneyline: Raiders +132, Commanders -256
