PHILADELPHIA — One of the Eagles’ best players suffered an injury and might not return to Sunday’s NFC playoff rematch with the Los Angeles Rams.

Lane Johnson, Philadelphia’s five-time All-Pro right tackle, suffered a neck injury in the first quarter, the Eagles announced. His return is questionable.

Johnson spent a considerable amount of time in the medical tent on the sideline after the Eagles’ first offensive drive that ended with a tush push touchdown.

Backup tackle Matt Pryor filled in for Johnson on the Eagles’ second drive. The Rams generated pressure on his side almost immediately with a second-down sack of Jalen Hurts.

Johnson was still on the bench for the Eagles’ third drive, which produced another sack and another three-and-out.

Johnson has been a fixture on the Eagles’ offensive line for over a decade now. He’s a six-time Pro Bowl selection and was named the No. 23 overall player in the NFL this preseason.
