We still have no idea who the real Dallas Cowboys are.

Dallas’ defense struggled to contain the Caleb Williams-led Bears on Sunday. While Dak Prescott tried to push the Cowboys back into it, Dallas ran out of answers and came away with a 31-14 loss in Week 3.

The Cowboys have plenty of questions to answer, including the status of injured receiver CeeDee Lamb.

Third quarter

– 0:13 left in the third: There’s been little to no answer from Dallas’ defense. The Bears controlled the clock for most of the quarter, embarking on a 19-play, 76-yard drive to extend their lead. That’s the longest drive of the season. It ended with a Caleb Williams 4-yard touchdown pass to DJ Moore.

The Cowboys also have injuries to monitor for Trevon Diggs and Kenny Clark. Bears 31, Cowboys 14

– 10:03 left in the third: Nothing going for the Cowboys to open the second half. Dak Prescott was sacked on second down, forcing Dallas into a passing situation to start the quarter. The drive went nowhere and Bryan Anger came out to punt.

CeeDee Lamb was also ruled out for the rest of the game.

Second quarter

– End of the first half: It wasn’t a great first half for Dallas’ defense. Caleb Williams and the Bears are moving downfield swiftly, taking a 10-point lead into the break. First quarter

– 4:21 left in the first: It’s a less-than-ideal start for the Cowboys in Chicago. The Bears uncorked a trick play early in this one. After flea-flicker, Caleb Williams launched a deep pass to WR Luther Burden III. It was a 65-yard touchdown pass for Williams. Bears 14, Cowboys 3

Cowboys trail early in this one. Bears 7, Cowboys 0

– 12:31 left in the first: It looked like things were flowing smoothly for Dallas’ offense on its first drive. Then a turnover stopped the Cowboys in their tracks. Javonte Williams picked up 26 yards on the ground, but had the ball stripped by Chicago CB Tyrique Stevenson as he looked to get out of bounds.

Officials reviewed the turnover. The play stands, and Chicago has possession.
