QUOTING RAHEEM MORRIS
“Very humbling game. … This week, we rode the emotional rollercoaster, and we were down.”
QUOTING THE FALCONS
Running back Bijan Robinson
On whether he was surprised about Sunday’s outcome…
“I was surprised, man. I didn’t want to lose by 30 today. Obviously, nobody did. But it happened. I believe this can either break a team or make a team. For us, this needs to make this team.”
On how the team bounces back from this loss…
“It wasn’t good enough. We know we’re a better team than that, and unfortunately it didn’t show today. We’re a tight group. We win together; we lose together. We got to stick together. It’s only Week 3. This game is not going to define who we are as a group, and we know that. So, just keep moving forward.”
QUOTING THE OPPONENT
Panthers head coach Dave Canales
On opening up at home with a divisional win…
“I have a lot of respect for the Falcons, for the group that they have over there. I think that they have a lot of talent. We took advantage of some of the mistakes (Sunday), and that’s the way it played out. But going into this game throughout the week in our prep, this is a team that we really respect. I respect Raheem Morris to the utmost and the schemes that they run on defense and on offense. And so, I just got to give credit to those guys, but also our guys just executing the plan and having that discipline to come out in the second half and then continue with the plan.”
