Pen met paper as rookie minicamp got underway at Gillette Stadium.
Eight members of the 2025 New England Patriots draft class signed their contracts on Friday, the organization announced.
The initial rookie deals include wide receiver Kyle Williams, center Jared Wilson, defensive tackle Joshua Farmer, outside linebacker Bradyn Swinson, kicker Andy Borregales, offensive tackle Marcus Bryant, long snapper Julian Ashby and cornerback Kobee Minor.
Williams, 22, landed in the third round at No. 69 overall out of Washington State. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound wideout opened his collegiate career at UNLV before transferring to Washington State. As a fifth-year senior, he paced the Cougars with 70 receptions for 1,198 yards and 14 touchdowns.
Wilson, 21, got the call in the third round at No. 95 overall out of Georgia. The 6-foot-3, 310-pound interior lineman made 21 appearances as a reserve before taking over as the top center for the Bulldogs last fall. He started all 12 games as a redshirt junior.
Farmer, 22, arrived in the fourth round at No. 137 overall out of Florida State. The 6-foot-3, 312-pound defensive tackle played in 42 games and made 25 starts during his Seminoles tenure. A team captain, he posted 80 tackles, 11 sacks and one forced fumble altogether.
Swinson, 22, was chosen in the fifth round at No. 146 overall out of LSU. The 6-foot-4, 255-pound former Oregon transfer appeared in 55 games off the edges between stops. His 2024 spanned 58 tackles, plus Tigers highs with 13 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks.
Borregales, 22, marked the first kicker off the board in April’s draft, going in the sixth round at No. 182 overall out of Miami. The 5-foot-11, 202-pound specialist played in 50 games for the Hurricanes. He converted on 74-of-86 field goals, including a long of 56 yards last campaign, and went 183-of-184 extra points.
Bryant, 22, entered the ranks in the seventh round at No. 220 overall out of Missouri. The 6-foot-7, 320-pound bookend, who spent four seasons at Southern Methodist, started all 13 games at left tackle for the Tigers in 2024. He also spent time at right tackle during a run that brought 55 appearances and 42 starts.
Ashby, 22, became the first long snapper taken since the 2021 draft, getting the call in the seventh round at No. 251 overall out of Vanderbilt. The 6-foot-1, 231-pounder spent four years at Furman before joining the Commodores. He saw action all 13 games last season, executing 114 snaps and recording tackles against Kentucky and South Carolina.
Minor, 22, stands as “Mr. Irrelevant” after concluding the 2025 draft in the seventh round at No. 257 overall. The 5-foot-11, 188-pound cornerback finished his five-year career at Memphis following stints at Indiana and Texas Tech. He played in all 11 games last season while having a hand in 38 tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles and six passes defensed.
Each selection signing carries a four-year pact. And that leaves first-round left tackle Will Campbell, second-round running back TreVeyon Henderson and fourth-round safety Craig Woodson to go for the Patriots.
Sixteen rookie free agents additionally agreed to terms with the club entering the weekend.
The undrafted arrivals officially on the books include quarterback Ben Wooldridge, running back Lan Larison, fullback Brock Lampe, wide receivers Demeer Blankumsee, Efton Chism III and Jeremiah Webb, tight ends C.J. Dippre and Gee Scott Jr., offensive tackle Cole Birdow, guard Jack Conley, defensive tackle Jahvaree Ritzie, edge defender Elijah Ponder, linebacker Cam Riley, cornerbacks Brandon Crossley and Jordan Polk, as well as safety Josh Minkins.
Wooldridge, 25, made 29 appearances at quarterback through stops at Fresno State and Louisiana. He was named Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 2024 after completing 185-of-271 passes for 2,392 yards and 17 touchdowns with six interceptions. Five rushing touchdowns were also notched.
Larison, 23, finished as UC Davis’ all-time leader in career all-purpose yards. He rushed for 1,465 yards and 17 touchdowns in 2024, while also working out of the backfield for 62 catches, 847 yards and an additional six scores.
Lampe, 22, appeared in 47 consecutive games at fullback for Northern Illinois. His stay also brought 18 receptions for 216 yards, 20 carries for 66 yards and three combined touchdowns.
Blankumsee, 23, transferred from Toledo to Memphis in 2023. Across two years on the latter program’s receiver depth chart, he caught 98 passes for 1,578 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Chism, 23, amassed 346 receptions for 3,852 yards and 37 touchdowns at Eastern Washington. He reset the school record with 120 receptions last season while earning first-team All-Big Sky honors with 1,311 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Webb, 23, played collegiately at South Dakota and South Alabama. He finished his final season out wide with 36 catches for 649 yards and five touchdowns across 13 games.
Dippre, 23, spent two seasons at Maryland and two seasons at Alabama. He totaled 65 receptions for 782 yards and three touchdowns during his career, and started all 13 games at tight end last fall.
Scott, 24, switched from wide receiver to tight end at Ohio State and appeared in 52 games, including 16 starts. His Buckeyes career brought 47 receptions for 393 yards and three touchdowns.
Birdow, 24, was formerly a defensive lineman at Old Dominion. He converted to offensive tackle at Merrimack and appeared in 11 games in back-to-back campaigns.
Conley, 23, accrued 60 games along the Boston College offensive line, finishing at right guard en route to an All-ACC honorable mention in 2024. He finished his Eagles tenure having tied for the most games played and most consecutive games played in program history.
Ritzie, 22, registered 6.5 sacks and an interception return for a touchdown at North Carolina in 2024. The defensive tackle checked into 50 games for the Tar Heels altogether.
Ponder, 22, spent five seasons at Cal Poly and twice earned first-team All-Big Sky recognition. The edge defender tallied 167 tackles and 26.5 sacks to go with one interception, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
Riley, 23, logged four seasons at Auburn before transferring to Florida State. The linebacker registered 167 tackles, 3.5 sacks and one forced fumble over the course of 58 games and 11 starts.
Crossley, 24, totaled 13 starts, 35 tackles and one interception on the way to an All-ACC honorable mention at cornerback last season for Southern Methodist. He began his career at Colorado State in 2019.
Polk, 24, became an All-Sun Belt honorable mention for Texas State in 2024, starting all 13 games and staying in for 69 tackles as a redshirt senior. The defensive back previously played at East Texas A&M.
Minkins, 22, resided in the Louisville secondary from 2020 through 2023 transferring to Cincinnati. He appeared in 49 career games, recording 132 tackles and four interceptions.
