And the question is, what needs to change?
My first answer, Caroline, not to be too, you know, hard on Saints fans here is everything, the entire roster.

I genuinely believe that right now is rock bottom for the Saints.
The Saints have a shot this year at being a winless football team.
They have a shot at 0 and 17.
They’re that bad week in and week out.
They’ll beat somebody along the way because somebody will, will oversleep a Sunday and not show up for the game.
I think the Saints are the worst team in the league and I don’t think that there’s one thing that can fix them.
I don’t think there’s one offseason that can fix them.
I think you have to rip this thing all the way down to its studs and rebuild it piece by piece in a process that will take years to get through the damage this year’s team will do.

The only thing that can help the New Orleans Saints is a prayer, frankly, like that is it and just, you know, full disclosure for everybody watching and listening, I’m a Saints fan.
I started talking about the draft in August because I just wanted to fast forward to April and hope that the Saints could get in on Arch Manning and take him with the #1 overall pick.
Now, Arch Manning doesn’t even look really that good, so there’s no hope left for Saints fans.
I think Saints fans knew this season was going to be rough.
Saints fans knew this season was going to be bad.
That became very, very clear when the two quarterback options were Spencer Rattler and uh Jake Haener and whatever other random quarterback they could scrape off the bottom of the barrel there.

Tyler Shuck and Saints fans knew this season was going to be bad, so at least this was the expectation: bad.
But what I think can help this team right now though, I don’t think they need to move on from Kellen Moore because I think Kellen Moore is a very smart football coach, but that is an inevitable leap when you go from coordinator to head coach.
You can be the smartest Xs and Os offensive, uh, offensive play caller out there, but it takes time to learn how to be a head coach, getting feel for the game.
Kellen Moore yesterday.
Kicked a field goal from the 6 yard line down 38 to 3.
He also missed a field goal down 35-3.

Like, why are, why is Kellen Moore attempting field goals down 35 points?
Like, well, you’re not just gonna go for it.
Yeah, what, what is the harm in that?
You’re at the 6 yard line.
Just go for it.
Toss it up and hope that prayer might reach somebody.
I think that is just kind of the head coach feel that I feel like Kellen Moore is missing.
You also had some flubs not calling timeouts and the Saints’ first couple of games.
So I think Kellen Moore needs to learn how to be a better tactician.
That doesn’t change the quarterback, that doesn’t change the lack of talent that the Saints have on this roster, but it would be a step in the right direction.
