The Arizona Cardinals lost to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 3 16-15, their first loss of the season. As one can imagine, they have fallen in new power rankings.
In USA TODAY’s Week 4 NFL power rankings from Nate Davis, the Cardinals fell three spots, going from 13th overall to 16th.
The loss of RB James Conner to season-ending ankle surgery will likely cost this team dearly in terms of production but most certainly in the leadership department.
The Cardinals now sit right in the middle of the league. They are ahead of Jacksonville and Denver. They trail Pittsburgh and Minnesota.

They ranked last in the NFC West, as the LA Rams are fourth overall, while the Seattle Seahawks are 12th and the 49ers 13th.
The Cardinals face the Seahawks this week on Thursday night.
