The Jacksonville Jaguars have had a lot of roster turnover this offseason, with a number of contributors from the 2024 season now no longer on the team.
This, of course, isn’t uncommon when a new GM and head coach take over. To varying degrees, it’s expected. The new regime doesn’t have any ties to the roster they are inheriting, and as fast as they can, they want to bring in their own players who fit the schemes.

Since James Gladstone took over, we’ve seen a trade prior to free agency and several players released, most of whom provided some salary cap relief. Gladstone has then added 11 outside free agents and didn’t re-sign any of the Jaguars’ own unrestricted free agents.
“What we were seeking to do in pro free agency was to raise the floor of this football team and every player that we pursued and that we’ve now acquired is meeting that standard,” Gladstone said back in March, via ESPN.
Then, in the draft, Jacksonville made nine selections and followed that up by signing 22 undrafted rookies to further reshape the roster.
In one offseason, there is only so much that can be done, but Gladstone didn’t waste any time either. Here are the 2024 members of this Jaguars’ team who are now no longer on the roster.
