MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins parted ways with long snapper Blake Ferguson on Thursday.

Ferguson, 28, appeared in 74 games, including two playoff games during his five-year career with the Dolphins.

Miami selected Ferguson in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Ferguson played college ball for the Louisiana State University Tigers, where he was a member of the 2019 national championship team led by Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and All-Pro wide receivers, Ja’Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson.

The Dolphins also announced that they have waived cornerback Ryan Cooper Jr., defensive tackle Neil Farrell and offensive lineman Chasen Hines in a press release on Friday.
